TTM Success - Lord Peter Carington

Lord Peter Carington, the 6th Baron Carington was a British politician who has been a Member of the House of Lords since 1940 and served in positions under 6 Prime Ministers starting with Winston Churchill in 1951 and ending with Margaret Thatcher in 1982. His most prominent positions were as Defence Secretary under Prime Minister Edward Heath and as Foreign Secretary under Prime Minister Thatcher. After resigning from Margaret Thatcher's cabinet in 1982, he also served a term as Secretary General of NATO from 1984-1988.

He signed the photo I sent him it was returned along with a note from his assistant in just 13 days.
