Alan Arkin is an American actor who has appeared in numerous films over the course of his career of more than 50 years. Some of his better known films are: The Russians are coming: the Russians are Coming, Catch-22, Glengarry Glen Ross, Argo, and Little Miss Sunshine for which he was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, his only Oscar win of 4 nominations.
