Rocco Siciliano is a lawyer who served as Special Assistant to US President Dwight Eisenhower where he advised and assisted him on matters relating to employment and civil rights. He organized and took part in some of the early meetings between President Eisenhower and civil rights leaders including Martin Luther King Jr. He is also the former head of the Eisenhower Institute and has been one of the most active individuals involved in the creation of a Dwight Eisenhower Memorial in Washington DC.
